New Music!

I have had the same playlist ever since I started blogging so I thought I would put some fresh tunes on. Not a lot is new with me I'm just drinking a lot of diet coke and chillin with Brookie almost daily. Even though the weather this summer has been crazy we go swimming at the Farmington Pool. The crowd there are cool Junior High kids or else the young mom's with their little ones. We are for sure out of place there but it's fun. Today I get to go up to Logan to see my old girlfriends I worked with at Terrace Grove.... I will be sure to get some pictures with the new camera :)

My birthday

I am now 22! It's was a great birthday. I woke up early to get my hair done, Kenzie died it back to blonde and i really like it. Then i met up with brooke and my mom to get pedicures. The guy that did it was really funny and it was a good time. We went to lunch after at wingers. That night my family took me to my favorite mexican resturaunt El Matador... I crave this place and it was sooo good. We opened presents and then ate cake and ice cream. I got a new camera, shoes, purse and a cute shirt. Later that night a few friends went bowling and then to Dennys. It was such a fun birthday thanks to everyone that made it that way! Now that I have a camera I have a feeling i will have a lot more posts on this blog. Baseball and sleep deprivation

Tonight after an exhausting day of going to school after working all night and 2.5 hours of sleep I got to go to a baseball game! This means it's the start of getting a tan, wearing shorts sun dresses flip flops and going swimming! The weather was almost hot in the afternoon and perfect in the evening I'm loving it. Jason and I went to the Utes baseball game at the Bee's stadium. Then we went to the spaghetti factory. Unfortunately I am back at work again but if i make it though the night I will finally get sleep!!!

Easter Weekend

I have been having lots of fun this spring. My good friend Alyssa got married on April 10th so i made the long drive to Logan for her reception. It was so pretty and her and Jon look so happy. Since I was up there i decided to stay the night with my best bud Brookie D. We went to Chili's with her bf Mike. Then we kicked him out and stayed up all night talking and watching movies. The next day we slept in, went to the hot tub, went tanning, went to lunch, got our necessary Diet Coke and were very lazy. It was great, I do not miss Logan but I miss living with Brooke. The next day was Easter and I got to hang out with the whole family. We had an easter egg hunt for my nephews and had a big Easter dinner. My mom catered to everyone's favorite and even cooked me chicken cause she knows I hate ham. My Grandma drove from Hyrum for the dinner. One of my nephews had a birthday the day after so we decided to celebrate it with him that day.

New Hair Color

I dyed my hair.... It's the in between stage for me going back to blonde... I just didn't want to fry my hair off since I am growing it out. This is my version of the famous "myspace" pose. I'm in a better mood now that I am getting a few days off of work and school! Hopefully the weather warms up I need the summer to come!

Ramblings of an overworked girl

I have an appointment to get a cut and color tommorow morning! I dont know if i should go back to blonde or stay brunette, keep growing it out or keep it short.... I am so indecisive when it comes to my hair.
I have been all alone in my parents house the last few days while they are at a reunion. It feels so weird to be alone all the time, even my dog is at my aunts. I have been working SOOO much and playing not enough. I think I am going crazy. Anyway, I am planning a trip to Logan this Friday for Alyssa's reception and I'm going to stay with Brooke which is always a good time. Brooke and I have been good friends since I was in 8th grade and we used to be inseperable when I lived in Logan so I miss her so much! Lucky for me she is moving down here in less than a month so we will be able to lay out and get diet cokes all summer! Enough rambling.. that's the update on me!

My siblings and I arranged a photo shoot before Riley left on his mission, my brother in law was the photographer and did a great job. We suprised my parents with a photo book for Christmas. It is cool we got to take them before Riley left. Here are a few....

I moved home to Farmington! I loved my apartment in Murray but need to save some money and pay off debt for school. I moved the first weekend in March. It's been nice having someone cook me food and keep me company. I have been working more hours at the hospital lately but I'm going to be working more as a sleep tech from now on. This month I have gone to two jazz games, had a little party for my friend Alyssa who is getting married, and gone bowling a few times! Its nice to be able to see my nephews more often, they are so cute. This week I tried something new. I went ice skating outdoors for the first time at the Gallivan Center downtown. It was so much fun! I didn't even fall once. Jason and I took trax down and skated for a few hours then headed to Chilis where we met up with Laci to watch the jazz game and get some grub. Here is a pic of us skating.

Weekend Fun

Superbowl 2009

I just spent the day in Farmington at my parents house for the Superbowl. Unfortunately our chosen team did not win... but it was an exciting game. My brother in law sister and their two kids came to help us celebrate. We had chips and dips, hot dogs and other good food. I found a few odd toys at the top of the T.V. My Mom told me they were Superbowl Burger King bobble head toys my dad collected and puts up every January. I had to take a picture of them... here it is.

Disney World 2008

I'm bored doing my endless pile of laundry at my parents house so i thought I might add some pics from my family vacation to Disney World this last September. I miss the warmth. My little nephew convinced my dad to buy him a pirate sword after the Pirates of the Carribean ride so they are fully equipped in pirate gear in the photo above. The youngest one loves to "fight." We were there for 8 days and didn't stop to take many breaks.. we saw just about everything. I needed a vacation after our vacation but it was fun. My favorite part of the trip was at Epcot where they have a world show case and different countries featuring food, rides, and products from that country. People from the different countries actually work there on internships from their native lands. I also liked being wined and dined at the nice resturaunts and all we had to pay was the tip because we won a free food package through our resort. It was nice and warm there, a little humid for my taste but I prefer that over this awful winter weather. We got to lay out at the pool. The resort we stayed at was the Port Orleans French Quarters so we got to eat beignets and one night there was a live jazz musician that I loved. We were a little cramped. I slept in a bed slammed into the corner of our hotel room but it was kind of funny I guess. We got up at 630 everyday and thats 430 our time... so I was very tired. I fell asleep on a jungle ride where we were in a bumpy jeep; it was pretty funny.

After months of religiously watching my friends and families blogs while working nights at the hospital I decided to show my face. Just an update... I am living in Murray with one roomate. I have a great view of the cemetary from my place. I have two jobs, one at the University hospital, one as a sleep tech, so I am on a very unique sleeping/eating/social schedule. I also go to school part time at SLCC and i will soon transfer to the U. When i am not trying to pay the bills or doing homework I like to hang out with my friends, visit my family, go on dates with my man, or get diet coke from the local Chevron :)
